Students can choose from a variety of financial aid programs depending on their academic concentration. There are other grants that appeal to student's characteristics such as discipline and hispanic heritage. Many entities also offer academic grants for women.

- ALPFA is the leading national professional association, consisting of chapters across the country and Puerto Rico. - Center for Puerto Rican Studies
- Centro is a research institute which is dedicated to the study and interpretation of the Puerto Rican experience in the United States and produces, dissiminates relevant interdisciplinary research. Centro also collects preserves and provides access to library resources documenting Puerto Rican history and culture. We seek to link scholarship to social action and policy debates, and to contribute to the betterment of our community and enrichment of Puerto Rican studies.
